Below is a list of SJMOMS activities for families and children:

Family Picnic

This is our annual event for the families of all members! It is typically held outdoors at a camp or local park. The goal for the day is to bring our members and their families together for some family fun!

Activities are planning throughout the day. Some past activities have included: Kidzercise, pony rides, swimming, magic show, music and dancing, sand art, carnival games, bike and wagon parade, face painting, kite flying and much more!

Halloween Parade

This annual Halloween Parade is typically held on the Saturday before Halloween. All family members are invited to wear their costumes and share treats with each other as we parade and then “Trick or Treat” around the lake. Finally, we return to the pavilion to enjoy some snacks, crafts and simple holiday games.

Hayride and Pumpkin Picking

This fall event always falls on the first Sunday of October. Club members meet at a local farm for fall activities, a hayride and pumpkin picking. In the past, this event has been held at Johnson’s Corner Farm or Indian Acres Farm. Tickets for this event are sold in advance at the monthly club meetings.

Monthly Activities

Children’s Activities offers at least one additional activities to club members per month.

Most of these activities are “pay at the door”.

In the past we have organized play dates at a discounted price at the following locations: Gymboree Play & Music, Jellybean Jungle, Bounce U, Tumblin’ Tots, and Enchanted Dreams.

In the future, we hope to organize offers for Kidzercise, Sahara Sams, and Coco Keys Beach Club, Chucky Cheese, The Falls, Roller Skating Rink, and many more!

Winter Holiday Breakfast

Held the first Sunday in December, this event is an opportunity for our member’s and their families to share the winter holidays with one another.

This past December we met at the Hotel ML for a delicious Breakfast Buffet.  We provided a variety of activities for the children to enjoy; including music, crafts, and even a special visit from Santa.  A minimal cost per person was charged to cover the cost of the buffet and supplies.
